Bought them for a concert- saved my hearing. Also came in handy at the hotel room when my friend was snoring up a storm in the next bed over. They’re comfortable to wear too.

Fit comfortably but they block out too much regular noise so you can’t hear regular conversation volume. They are rated to block the same amount as the older model with the hole in the rear piece but they block more than those did. Great if you need it to block that out though.

I have been using loop earplugs for several months now. I have the original quiet earplugs, and they are comfortable while reducing a good amount of sound. As a light sleeper, that is important to me.
I was so excited with the closed tip design of the new quiet 2. Unfortunately, the slim edge on the outer part of the tip is rough. With the silicone being flexible, and the tip being so thin, it can flex and bend. Pushing the rough edge against my sensitive ear canal. Inserting them can be hard, as there is a sweet spot, and any backward motion causes the tip to bend. It is uncomfortable enough to prevent sleep until I can adjust it. I really wanted to love them, but this new design is not for me.

Bought these to wear at an all day local music festival. They worked great! Depending on where we were in the venue, I could adjust them to hear my friend group better or protect my ears from the loudness of the music.

These are good but not particularly so great that they’re worth more than the cheaper ones for 15. I do like how they look and the case etc feels much more premium but in terms of the earplug quality it’s pretty similar to other ones for double the cost. These are worth it if a nice case is important to you.

Yes, you will hear your own voice and breathing a little louder, that’s how plugging your ears work.
Do I recommend these for people who are expecting quiet? No. If you’re looking for sound blocking, still go with the classic foam earplugs over any kind of loops.
These are good for people who get sensory overwhelm, hyperacusis, or are sensitive to acute changes in environment. They take the edge off. I often slip them in when conversation is loud enough that it drains my sensory battery. I can still hear the conversation clearly, but the smacking of people’s mouths, the sharp “s” sound, and background electricity noises are all dimmed. I carry these everywhere. I love the cute shape. This is my favorite kind of loops. I’m now going to go buy more colors.

These are crucial for parents with little kids. I can still hear everything from my kids but blocks out the high pitch screaming and crying and helps me not become extremely overstimulated from sound.
