The plugs work very well once I found the right size tip. They reduce volume but still allow conversation. However, the case doesn’t close properly and pops open easily. I use a plastic cylinder that used to hold aspirin. Much less stylish but much more secure. You won’t regret getting these earplugs but you will need a different case if you plan to carry them around.

Amazing product. My wife is super sensitive to sound and loud noises take her out. A friend encouraged me to purchase these and this is the answer to it all. They are super comfortable and they are perfect for loud concerts and snoring😊. 10/10 highly recommend

I really enjoy how comfortable these are. I get migraines often so it helps a lot with how loud some sounds can be. I have also been able to sleep comfortably in them. I didn’t give them 5*because the switch just doesn’t feel like there is any difference between any of them. Everything sounds the same between all of them. One of them the switch moves easily between each one, but the other is much harder to change. They are easy to put in and take out and fit in my ear comfortably. I love the carry case since I take them everywhere, I have them hooked on the same keychain I have for my headphones. They are mostly easy to clean except for the seam for the switch.

Very good for concerts and movies. The smallest size fits my ears, and I have small ears.

Context: I have sound sensitivity and audio processing issues, and have owned the Loops Engage 2 for about a week now. My usual life involves struggling to hear people over background noises and being overstimulated by things like public spaces, bathroom fans, too much traffic, etc. These issues are sort of mid-level; my sensitivity is low enough that I can push through many bad sounds without fully melting down, but high enough that I’m absolutely miserable when doing it.
Review: Absolutely loving these so far! I’d read another review that said “If normal hearing is a 10/10 volume, the Engage is a 7/10”, and I completely agree. I can still hear what’s going on around me (important for feeling safe and connected), but the edge is taken off and a lot of irritating background noises are just gone. I.e. I can still hear the bathroom fan, but it’s quieter and lacking the worst motor sound. I can hear if someone’s behind me at the grocery store, but the music and other shoppers no longer overwhelm me and make it impossible to hear my partner talking. The Loops don’t get everything, but they get enough to make my life feel more comfortable, and that really matters.
If you have audio processing problems like me, these do make it a lot easier to focus on voices instead of hearing everything all at once. Everything is a little quieter though, voices included, so these might not work if you have hearing problems as well. And as with any other earplugs I’ve tried, noises inside my own head (like chewing or talking) feel significantly louder, so I wouldn’t wear these out to a dinner with friends, for example. (Or at the very least, I’d put them in their nice little carrying case before we started eating.) Oh, and remember that earplugs make your voice feel louder inside your head, so you might feel like you’re yelling when in reality you’re talking too quietly haha
Overall, highly recommend and would buy again!

Very comfortable! I use these in my classroom during hectic parts of our day and it minimizes the background noise, but I am still able to hear voices and converse. I wish the case were a bit more sturdy and durable so that I could keep it on my lanyard without the fear of it opening.
